Traveling Directions: From the Portland Area: Take Hwy 99W south toward the Coast-McMinnville-Newberg. Turn left onto Hwy 18. Take the first exit to McMinnvile (right). Turn left at the stoplight. Go 1 block and turn right onto 2nd St. The church will be about 4 blocks on the left. From the Salem Area: Take 99W. Turn right at the stoplight as you enter town by the Shell/ Texaco gas station. Go approx
2 miles and turn right onto 2nd St. The church is about 4 blocks on the right.

Women’s Walk #60 “JOY”
*** "JOY" was a meaningful and fun theme to work with. A joyful welcome to all the new Pilgrims. YOU are a wonderful group of ladies. May God bless you on all of your many 4th days. It will be fun working with you on future Walks. Nancy and I are still praising the Lord for calling together such an awesome team in both the Inn and in the Background. Team work and love and joyful service could be seen in all you did. Thanks to each and everyone of you.

UPCOMING CHRYSALIS FLIGHTS:
Girls’ Chrysalis #21 "More Like You" August 18-21, 2005
***"More Like You" is the theme for the Girls Chrysalis August 18-21 at the McMinnville UMC. Discipleship is the call that has been on my heart since I was first asked to pray about being the Lay Director for this flight. It is my prayer that everyone associated with the flight--workers and caterpillars alike--will grow closer to Christ and feel themselves growing to be more like Him through their service and experiences on the flight. Make no mistake--this is going to be a "Fun in the Sun" flight! If you are considering working, get ready for a great time! A few spots are still available on the kitchen team and I need a couple of youth speakers and table leaders. If you are interested, contact me. What better way to spend some of those great August days than basking in God's love and the sunshine of his son! It has already been a powerful experience to see how God calls and blesses people who desire to serve Him. If you want to be part of this flight, there is a place for you! Most importantly, please pray for the caterpillars God is preparing to send to the flight. Pray also for their sponsors that they may support these young women both before and after the flight. Hope to see you at Candlelight on August 20 and closing August 21.

FALL WALKS:
Men’s Walk # 61 “Oh How He Loves You and Me”
October 13-16, 2005
*** O How He Loves You And Me’ is the theme and the song for the Men’s Walk # 61 in Vancouver at First UMC on October 13-16, 2005. The scripture verse is a familiar one~ John 3:16. Larry Allen has agreed to be the Vice Director. We are still putting the team together so please send in your applications to work to Bill Loos. Some of the words to the song tell us there is no ‘plan B’ from God. “He gave His life, what more could He give”. The rest is up to us, folks. Have we been serving God these past few days and weeks? Please pray that God will guide those people He desires to be pilgrims and on the team. And pray for Larry and me to make choices that are directed by God. I look forward to being a blessing and being blessed by this upcoming walk.
